Restricted — Hand Baggage Only
Pack these in checked baggage instead to avoid inconvenience at the boarding gate.
- Knives, including hunting knives, swords, and pocketknives
- Scissors and other sharp or bladed objects, such as ice picks and nail clippers, where prohibited by local law
- Weapons such as whips, batons, or stun guns
- Toy guns, gun-shaped items or look-alikes, and handcuffs
- Sporting equipment such as baseball or cricket bats, golf clubs, hockey sticks, and billiard cues
- Devices containing spillable batteries
- Aerosols — hair spray, perfume, or alcohol-based medicines — not exceeding 0.5 kg/L per article and 2.0 kg/L in total
- Baby strollers
- Any other item deemed a security hazard under local law, or that resembles or functions similarly to the items above
Medical exemption — medically necessary needles and syringes are exempt from these restrictions where the passenger carries the corresponding prescription medication with a professionally printed label identifying the medical office, pharmacy, or manufacturer.
Restricted items presented at the boarding gate will be retrieved by local authorities. Depending on local conditions, retrieved items may not be returned.
